KON TIKI!

 Today we were reading about the Kon-tiki. We decided to make the raft and try to float it. Thor Heyerdahl built the real Kon Tiki. He and his crew tried to reach the Polynesian Islands from Lima, Peru. He proved that he could make it to the islands because he sailed to them. We thought we should make a model of the raft and test it in a pool and see if it could make to the Islands. I reckon my raft will have a good chance to get to the Polynesian Islands.

    Wow is that your kon tiki. I like the way you used the flax. Maybe you could tidy up the string. I think it would survive where it was going.
