Ice Cream!

Last week in cooking Tech my group made ice cream! The flavour I made with my partner was Passion-Mallow, a creamy, scrumptious mix of sweet Passion fruit syrup (without the seeds) and mini pink & white marshmallows. We made posters with Poster my wall. It was epic to make ice cream! It was really delicious and my family loved it!

Poster my wall was a new site. It was fun finding lots of different images, stickers, fonts and designs.   It was a little challenging working out how to download the images.   Here is my finished poster;)

Hi everyone, My name is Iris, I am a Year 7 and I go to Matawai School. I live with my Mum, Dad and my brother. We used to have a dog, but at the moment I’ve got pet rabbits, our family cat, tadpoles, chooks, goats, cows, deer and sheep. I love swimming in rivers and lakes. Together, my family and I live on a farm. I love motorbiking in the paddocks too. I have a pet Jersey Cow calf, which will later be my milking cow. Her name is May. She loves cuddles and is a monster licker. At school, I am good at writing and I really enjoy reading books. My challenge is definitely, absolutely Maths. My goals for this year would be to get better at sport, maths and playing the ukulele. I am looking forward to basically everything except maths this year. A few people who inspire me would be Rosie White, a soccer player and Vicki Wilson, an amazing horse rider. I’m looking forward to sharing my learning with you!

My Flower Pot

I chose to change the colour of the pot to make it a terracotta pot so I changed the colour to red-orange.

Pop Art - Collage

 Today we used LunaPic to make a collage. I really enjoyed it. LunaPic is a very useful tool. All of the different kinds and styles to make our face or picture stand out is splendid! With one of my other teachers, we carved Pop Art like Andy Warhol. I encourage you to try it!
