Hi everyone, My name is Iris, I am a Year 7 and I go to Matawai School. I live with my Mum, Dad and my brother. We used to have a dog, but at the moment I’ve got pet rabbits, our family cat, tadpoles, chooks, goats, cows, deer and sheep. I love swimming in rivers and lakes. Together, my family and I live on a farm. I love motorbiking in the paddocks too. I have a pet Jersey Cow calf, which will later be my milking cow. Her name is May. She loves cuddles and is a monster licker.
At school, I am good at writing and I really enjoy reading books. My challenge is definitely, absolutely Maths. My goals for this year would be to get better at sport, maths and playing the ukulele.
I am looking forward to basically everything except maths this year. A few people who inspire me would be Rosie White, a soccer player and Vicki Wilson, an amazing horse rider. I’m looking forward to sharing my learning with you! |
